The logs at Petrified Forest are 200 million years old and have turned entirely to quartz, which means the wood grain is now stone in full color. It is the closest thing to a treasure hunt the park system offers.

The design: A cross-section of petrified heartwood with its mineral rings rendered in flat vectors and a rust-and-ochre palette.
Fabric: 8 oz heavy blend cotton-polyester fleece, soft-spun for a smoother hand.
Construction: Double-needle stitching at the armholes, waistband and cuffs. 1x1 athletic rib with spandex. Quarter-turned, no center crease.
Fit: Youth crewneck, XS through XL. Tearaway label, no scratchy tag.
Care: Preshrunk. Machine wash cold inside out, tumble dry low.
